Allen J. Babayan, President
Position:
Working within the technology space (in the heart of Silicon Valley) for more than a decade, Allen is on the cutting edge in matters involving the licensing of intellectual property and the practice of transactional law. Coupled with his innovative vision, creativity and ability to execute, Allen has managed to put SHOOTMedia on the map by developing and delivering a unique brand of sport-centric content.
Scholastics & Work Experience:
Allen earned a degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis in 1993. After attending Golden Gate University Law School for a year in 1995, Allen took a leave of absence to pursue his Track & Field career. In 1997, Allen began attending Law School, and by 2001 he had earned his J.D. Since 1999, Allen has been employed at a number of high-tech Silicon Valley companies, spanning from Sony Electronics, Hyperion Solutions, Fair Isaac Corporation, and Stratify, Inc., having served in the capacity of Corporate Counsel.
Athletics:
Allen is a former Olympic athlete, with an athletic background that originated in Track & Field. A 3-time NCAA All-American in the Shot-Put and Hammer throw, Allen went on to compete for USA Track & Field as a competitor in the 1999 USA National Track Championships, as well as the 2000 USA Olympic Trials Team in the Shot Put. In 2002, Allen shifted gears and joined the 2002 Armenian Olympic Bobsled team. He continued to represent Armenia in the bobsled as a member of the 2004 World Championship Team, ultimately retiring in 2005.
Alexander L. Oxendine, Head of Production
Position:
Alexander extensive network within the mixed martial arts arena, coupled with his authenticity and charisma has lead Alexander to establish meaningful relationships with the sports most elite fighters. This, in turn enables Alexander (and SHOOTMedia) to get closer to the action, going where others cannot.
Work Experience:
Alexander has been involved in the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) community for the past 15 years, most notably as a co-trainer of MMA legend BJ Penn. Alexander has trained a number of MMA superstars at his gym, "Legends" often doubling in the role of trainer/promoter for many of the athletes.
Notable Achievements:
In 2002, Alexander was an integral part in producing 5 of the Rumble On The Rock MMA events (“ROTRâ€). This event was a huge success, leveraging Alexander’s strengths in the areas of matchmaking, promoting, scripting and announcing. Alexander was also instrumental in dealing with sponsors interested in both the individual fighters and the ROTR event itself. In 2003, Alexander was brought in by Randy Couture and Matt Lindland, producers of the "Sportfight" MMA event series, and help them take that show to the next level. Alexander accomplished this by leveraging his more than 10 years of corporate sales/ business development experience along with his numerous relationships with world class fighters, to create a fight card that was considered by some to be the best matchmaking work ever. He was also instrumental in with promoting the show to a number of new markets and securing sponsors. Alexander currently owns and operates Los Gatos Mixed Martial Arts, where he trains an elite crop of up and coming fighters.
Mike G. Malcolm, Sales & Marketing
Position:
Mike runs SHOOTMedia's Sales and Marketing operations. His extensive experience within this space has proved to be an invaluable asset for SHOOTMedia, contributing to its establishing meaningful relationships with a number of prominent companies.
Work Experience:
Mike’s business experience includes a 10 year career as Director of Client Services and Sales and Marketing Operations at Silicon Valley Capital Management, where he was responsible for managing more than a $150 million dollars in assets. Mike is no stranger to big business, as he has fostered lucrative partnerships with some of the most distinguished Financial institutions, including Charles Schwab, Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, Oppenheimer and Fidelity. His in-depth knowledge of Corporate Sales/Marketing strategy, coupled with his ability to effectively communicate with individuals from all walks of life makes Mike a valuable asset of the SHOOTMedia family. His “no quit†attitude and relentless pursuit for success helps to give SHOOTMedia a significant advantage over its competitors in this industry.

Mike is involved with a number of local youth development organizations. His passion to teach and mentor is further evidenced by his role as Defensive Coordinator for the Los Altos High School varsity football team.

Patrick D. Powell, Recruiting
Position:
Patrick’s background as a highly decorated collegiate football player has given him the unique ability to establish meaningful relationships with many of today’s top NFL players. Coupled with his unparalleled sense of integrity and passion, Patrick’s contribution to SHOOTMedia’s mission of developing and delivering a unique brand of sport-centric content is significant.
Scholastics:
Patrick Earned a BA in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts, in 2008. Primary focus philosophy of sport, in which an independent study on the Philosophical Athlete resides in the Massachusetts archives as one of its more unique and powerful studies (focus of interest N.F.L’s Vernon Davis).
Athletics:
Patrick is a former Collegiate Football player, started his college career as a full scholarship Defensive End at the University of Maryland, in 2003, where he was a part of Maryland’s 2004 Gator Bowl championship. Due to knee injuries transferred to the University of Massachusetts in the 2006, where he also became a part of the UMass Football National championship finalist of 2006. Knee injuries prevent Powell from obtaining full potential of success on the playing field, however shows corresponding worth ethic and determination from the gridiron to the networking/ recruiting field. Also noted, Powell was voted all time player at his position in district, metro, region, and state as a prep athlete.
Miscellaneous:
Patrick is also primary youth development counselor at H.E.C residential placement for at risk youth, where he is a primary source of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as co-facilitator of athletic events. Patrick inspires to construct his very own non-profit organization for at risk youth in the future where the basis will be the correspondence of philosophy of life, to the philosophy of sport.
